I don't have the mark scheme for this but i got Mg(NO3)2.6H20 as my answer. Is this correct?

i worked out moles of Mg(OH)2 which was 2.98x10^-3

then assumed 1:1 ratio, meaning moles of Mg(NO3)2.xH2O was the same

then used moles = mass/mr to find the remaining Mr (using mass given in question) which was 148.3 + x(18).

I got 6 as my answer.
