There are still flights coming into the UK from India. In fact, one came in this morning into Heathrow from Delhi. The government was also very slow to put India on the red list.

"strict"?? IMO it isnt strict enough. Specialists all say that the boarders should be closed for a while so countries can recover... Yes the economy will fall a bit but better than lives falling..

Because there weren’t strict restrictions. Trusting people to self isolate, as well as the people they share a household with, is hope over aspiration. With something that multiplies up exponentially you don’t need many lapses either
