I have a query regarding student finance funding. I have recently completed PGDL from BPP university Birmingham. The course I studied was not eligible for student finance. I am going to study LPC next year, but I am not sure if I will be eligible for Student finance as I have already studied Post graduate Diploma in law. I want to be clarified if I am still eligible for finance as the course I have studied was not eligible for the Student finance. The information on Student Finance website states that if you already have completed Masters degree than you will not be eligible for the funding ,however, I have completed a Diploma and not a Degree. Could you please clarify if I am eligible for the finance after completing PGDL which is a Diploma?Thank you

Hi, our guidance states:

We will not fund a course solely for a LPC as this is a PGDip qualification, however if the student is studying an LPC that is part of an eligible master's course, such as a LLM, we will fund them for this

Thanks, Isaac
