Hi I’m currently studing English lit and these are few suggestions.
Othello-
Venice is a very strict and proper society which make Othello feel like an outsider inside it. Iago uses Othellos insecurity about being an outsider to manipulate him into thinking that Desdemona has the same views as society.
You could talk about society views on women and gender roles (patriarchal)
Gatsby-
Hedonistic and shallow
Context=roaring 20’s
Most characters fit and would be expected in society
It was normal for affairs (Tom)
Daisy- women would have nothing after a divorce and had no voice
Jordan- has more freedom because of her masculine traits
Myrtle- wants the American dream and the escape poverty
The rich have no sympathy or regard for the poor

There are just a couple of ideas, hope this helps
