hi

im in my first year of uni and I made a new application because at the start of the academic year I didn't enjoy my course and wanted to change it however I've since started enjoying it

since then I've accpected an unconditional offer a few months ago but no longer want to attend that course and instead just stay on the on the one im currently on

should I just contact the uni and explain I no longer want to have my place on the new course? and just carry on with my current course?

i know that its a bit more complicated with unconditional offers so any advice would be great thank you!

I think contacting them would be the best thing to do; they’d rather know you’ve changed your mind sooner rather than later as it may free up a place for someone else to receive an offer!

How long ago was this?
You can withdraw your application through ucas in the first 14 days, after that you have to go to the university
