Can you work another job whilst on temporary leave?

I have a part-time bartending job on the side of college. I'm leaving to go to university in September and my supervisor said that I could be put on temporary leave and work when I come back in the holidays. I was just wondering if you can work another job whilst on temporary leave for one?

Yes you can work for anybody else regardless of being on temp leave from your bar work as you won't be getting paid from them while at university.
They look like they will be prepared to take you back on again if you wanting to work there when on university holidays.
You may find that the other job you get is better and you'll be happy to work there when on holidays.
