Hello, I don't feel confident for my final exams in year 12, I've heard they get sent off to your unis and an offer is made from what you get, is is a big deal and will it impact my university application to a large extent?

Hello I’m in year 12 too and I’ll have my final exams in June, the first week of June to be specific. My teachers told me the grades we get are the grades we will use for our uni applications, so it will clearly have an impact

What A-levels are you taking and good luck! Mine are in the third week of June. I am hoping to do well on them but honestly biology is the subject that I don't enjoy anymore

Biology sounds hard to be honest, too much content, I’m kinda stressed for my a levels but God willing I’ll pass them because I wanna get into a good uni, I’m doing criminology law sociology Spanish and EPQ. What a levels are you taking

wow I wanted to do law as an A-level but they don't offer it here and I was almost going to choose Spanish but it didn't match my blocks. I'm doing biology, chemistry and geography. Same, if you don't pass them we have to re take year 12

I’m super stressed because my school literally told us this if you don’t pass these exams you won’t come back for your year 13” like okay? Let me breath, it’s just too much and also the pandemic etc apart from that I’ve been thinking about the peros al statement we’ll do for ucas, and I haven’t done anything not because I don’t want to but because we can’t, there are no places in london which are taking students

Predicted grades for your A levels are entered onto your UCAS application by your school.
Yes, Universities use this as a basis of assessing your application.

However, exactly how your school devises your predictions is up to them - some use mock grades, some use 'end of year grades', others use teacher intuition.

Hey

My UCAS application grades were from my year 13 mock exams before Christmas. However, some schools will use AS grades too. Although it is still good to revise and try and do your best, I would speak to your teachers to see what grades they usually use for your UCAS applications, as they may be able to reassure you

Hope this helps,
