can you change your student finance bank account? i have it set up for my old bank account but i want to change it to my student bank account once i have made it

yes, just close one first and open/alter another

what is the student finance website? it shouldn't have anything to do with your bank account, other than being where your loan is paid into

you close the student account and open another, then change your bank details with sfe

My understanding is that you can log on to your student finance account and make changes to your bank details there.

See section 6 on the right-hand side of this page: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login
