How often do you skive and for what reasons?

Never as couldn't afford to attempt to catch up with my course.
Why skive as wasting your money by doing this.!!!

I once skipped a lecture given by an external company, because these were usually just advertising opportunities for them. I regretted it later because I missed out on freebies.

I skived a lot at school but haven’t really at uni. I have missed a few classes for things like drs appointments (rather than rescheduling the appointment) but have never just randomly skived.

I found that skipping in a slippery slope - once you miss the odd one, you can find yourself feeling less and less guilty or missing many.

I only missed a few lectures, mainly for illness or because I knew I had an imminent deadline (and had made poor time management choices leading up to it).
