I have got Year 10 mocks in a few weeks and I don't know how to revise.
The subjects include:
French
English
Maths
Science
Geography
Edit : (P.S I have tried Past Papers, but I don't really gain much from them.)

this probably isn’t useful because it’s only for two of the subjects , but past papers really helped me in maths and science. do them, then use the mark scheme and correct / annotate in a different colour pen. this might be useful for geography as well, but i was awful at geography and hated it ahaha

Thanks for the quick reply, I have tried past papers but I don't really gain much in them. I'll try what you said for the annotation though.

Honestly agree with the struggle with past papers. It took me a while to learn how to really learn from them. Basically you have to try remember what the mark scheme wants you to say and how it wants you to construct your answers. Pretty boring , but it’ll hopefully work in the end.

If you do AQA Biology then these two resources will help. I use them with my students and also for my Year 10 daughter. AQA Chemistry and Physics can be downloaded for free from the website found at the top of the notes.

also in y10 doing exams in 2 weeks, here's a few that have helped me:
- figuring out how I learn, so Im quite visual so my notes are full of diagrams / pictures
- if you need to make notes, make a schedule for when you're gonna do each topic (Im doing edexcel but happy to link my notes for sciences/geog)

- seneca is amazing for science
- gcsephysics online is great for physics
- savemyexams is also a very good resource
- for maths, Id recommed hegarty
- for english, expaning your vocab for composition, and for poetry remembering topic sentences is usually enough

- for definitions and especially languages quizlet is v good
- saw past papers didnt work for you, how do you usually do them? (like with or without notes etc)
- exam questions but more specifically get used to mark schemes, using key words etc
- going over notes regulary (like regardless if you have tests), just to refresh your memory on it helps me a lot

hope this helps a bit

Thanks for the advice.
For past papers, I didn't use any notes on the first time. On the second time, I used notes but I don't really gain as much from them. Like I get the basics but when I go into detail I just don't know what to do and that's why i don't gain as much.
I'll Try you're other suggestions.

For my history alevel it was suggested to me to take a sheet of information, read it, then try and reproduce that sheet of information from memory and add the information you forgot in a different colour and keep repeating the process

what i do in maths is do papers without notes, then whatever questions I can't do / forget I write down or make some notes on. helps with maths for the smaller, miscellaneous topics that get less attention but also helps me in science, might help. good luck in ur exams

Sorry about that. Below are the same resources but posted on GetRevising website (which is owned by The Student Room). Downloads work from these links (don't know why the downloads are working on TheStudentRoom - will look into it).
