Aston University Accommodation?

Hello, I have booked my accommodation for Aston University and it consisted of James Watt and William Murdoch. I have heard there isn't much difference although I was curious to hear from people who have actually stayed there on what it is like.

With points such as security, is it secure enough and will I be confident that I won't get robbed? Other factors could be noise level, I live in a fairly loud home in general lmao with neighbors being loud and stuff. Although, I was curious to know the noise level and of course I know it's 1st year so drinking and stuff goes on but realistically how loud does it get? It's not a primary concern although I was mainly focussed on security and in general build quality for example is the place well built do the facilities work often and are there any issues with them.

Realistically I just want to have some advice from someone who has stayed there so I can get a better visualization on how the accommodation is and if it's worth going to.

I had friends that lived in both for first yr. it’s great if you’re looking to make friends etc. It can get noisy on student nights but overall it’s okay. There’s security on campus 24/7 so if anything happens you’d give them a call or they normally just walk around campus. My friends hadn’t had issues with their rooms alhamdulilah
