MAP problem...

When I try and log into MAP, I get this message..

" Credentials incorrect

SITS_LOGIN_ERROR_004

The username and password you supplied is not valid. This could be because you have entered them incorrectly or alternatively you may be in debt to the University. If you think that this may be the case, please visit the Student Finances web site to find out more."

I've entered them right, and I'm not in debt to the uni...wtf :s-smilie:
Mine did that the other day but I tried an hour later and it was fine
It's because MAP sucks.

True story :p:

If it happens again go to the ISA room. Sometimes its a fault with the server.

Well MAP is working fine now, it's just Blackboard which is down (and is obviously a server fault based on some of the lines of code that get spewed out occasionally when it breaks)

And Webmail still runs slower than Paula Radcliffe on the moon :p:

Indeed, but I'm going to have to do some eventually. :frown:

I envy you with your lack of work!
I'm feeling badly ill with flu again, so I don't envy me with my lack of work lol ... I wouldn't mind having a bit more to do if I was feeling well enough to sit down and do it. :p:

How much work you got to do atm?

Bless. *touchwood* I haven't felt too ill yet. Apart from last Weds with the whole Cilit Bang thing.

I always have to watch a film every week and write a mini essay on it, always have to do a listening task and exercises, then I get loads of reading. It gets tedious!

You don't get Aunties Flu like we get Freshers Flu? :p:

Hopefully you'll avoid the mass illness epidemic then if you've managed to so far, it's slowly fading out for most people. What happened with the Cilit Bang thing again? I remember you mentioning it but I cant remember exactly what you said. Something about your housemate being a colossal moron?

Sounds like a painful workload ... I hate reading tasks becuase its difficult to concentrate on for too long. And books are so expensive ! I need to write a 1-page essay every week on some specific task relating to the lecture and hand them all in in January, and then just read things for the other modules ... which I guess isnt too bad. Writing an essay on films sounds really boring though ... I thought writing a page about a 5-minute clip was bad. :frown:
Not yet...

The Italian girl used it to do the washing up. Ewwww...

I don't mind the films too much cos I've done media for 6 years now and its only a 400 word thing, but the reading is just...blah. Its like, "You're in 2nd year so you must be really smart. Read this [insert long winded really confusing text]." 1st week I read about 150-200 pages.
Why the hell would anyone wash up with Cilit Bang? Silly Italian girl, I think you should put Flash in her tiramisu, personally.

200 pages in one week?!?!!? ... I could never do that properly even if I tried. I could probably skimread it without understanding it or taking anything in properly though. I hope we don't have to do that next year for the business school lol.

Wait til you get to final year! Stefan loves us to read!

Also, our film module is all year with 2 weeks to watch each film, but it's 500 word essays each time!
Another film module? As much as I love it, I hate doing the same thing again.

Stefan does indeed love to make people read. It does my nut in cos he always gives out really complicated things.
I never did it in first and second year, but all the single honours people did. Stefan's just set us another three articles for us to read this week. He's doing my Year Abroad Oral tomorrow :s-smilie:
