Maintenance Loan
Hi,
I’ve applied for student finance and have received a letter saying I will only receive the minimum amount of money for my maintenance loan (£6,166) however your household income has to be above £70,000 a year to receive the minimum. My parents household income is about £50,000 so I would assume I would receive much more than this. I completed the student finance calculator and it said I should get more like £8000 for my maintenance loan. Has their likely been a mistake or is this normal.
