Edexcel a level politics

How hard is it in general? Revision tips? Any other helpful info. For 3rd option my sixth form has chosen global politics too by the way.
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
Hey lovely, drop me a PM I’ve got essay plans which I think will help you start your politics up, for reference I got an A in October so yeah I can really help guide and advice you x
I've just finished it, here's my take as simple as can be: not too bad, boring. Enjoy the first year while you can, US politics is a drag from hell.

My politics teacher said he chose US because Global was harder, so good luck my guy. It's not necessarily hard as it is boring, to death nearly. And US politics, which I did, is so incredibly dysfunctional. But yeah, I revised every week and stayed more than up to date on current affairs. Mostly though it's by the book kind of memorisation you'll need, and learning the right structure (we used PEACE and PEE) which take time if you haven't done so before.

I can't speak on behalf of ideologies (which you do alongside both years, Liberalism, Conservatism and Socialism, as well as either Feminism, Ecologism and so on) as we only did the first three then stopped as Covid meant we could cut them from out exams.
