It's illegal for any professional educator to be in a sexual relationship with anybody under the age of 18. It's also illegal for any professional educator to be in a sexual relationship with any student of any age if the student studies in the establishment where the educator works. It's NOT illegal if the student has no connections to the establishment that the educator works.
If the above isn't bad enough, it's also against The Professional Code of Conduct for Teachers, and such offence is classed as Gross Misconduct with usually results in Summary Dismissal and their teaching rights are immediately withdrawn, and can receive a life ban from teaching.
