Hello everyone... I have a query.. if a student is a British citizen and he decides to stay in Scotland for 3 years prior to entring the university means he completes his A levels there etc.... would that student be eligible for free education over there? Any idea or anyone with similar case?

Do 15 years 'decide' where to live? I think your parent/s have to live their also - you cant just sign up for a boarding school.

Thank you for replying... yes ofcourse parents are planning to live there for 3 years so the children can get eligible for free education at Scottish universities... so I would like to ask would that work that way ? Considering we are British Citizens so I hope they won't create a problem and at the end of the day we end up paying the tuition fee

I think the rule is 3 years residence - you should check the website carefully as the dates can matter a lot.
