For anyone doing year 10 mocks

Does anyone know what they are doing for the two English papers in the mocks , the plays I have studied are the Christmas carol and inspector calls but what do I do in the exam cause i haven’t really been told what I’m meant to revise or what will be in the language and literature papers ?
You really need to ask your teacher about this. They’re the only person who can tell you the format of the test.

It’ll be different in every school but for my year 10 mocks we did actual gcse papers here’s some examples of exam questions from the AQA website.

An inspector calls - you would be given two options and pick one

Christmas carol - you get given an extract and answer a question related to it

I would need to revise the storyline and memorise quotations as well as the context of the texts.

Language you get extracts and answer questions on the extracts and then you have to write a creative writing piece or a non-fiction piece like a letter depending on if it’s a paper 1 or paper 2. It’s difficult to revise for, the best thing to do would be check the format with your teacher and do a similar paper to prepare yourself.
