Tips for being more active??

^^^^^

basically I want to become more active but not sure on how to do so. Currently, I cycle 6-8 miles a day and walk between 20-60 minutes a day.

Thank you in advance
What's ur motivation for wanting to be more active btw? Sounds like your quite active already actually, not that more exercise isn't a good thing

get into lifting or some sort of sport you enjoy. I thought I'd never like exercise but now I do

You can also do dance videos at home with friends like video calling or join a dance class

I would recommend looking into sports clubs in your area. I do taekwondo and judo, and have been training for most of my life and absolutely love training and competing, so if you can find a sport club for a sport that interests you, it'll be fun as well as keeping fit so it's a win win situation.

Given that you are barely eating enough calories to live, sort out your diet before you start increasing your activity. You are at the bottom end of your BMI and could easily become underweight by expending more energy and not replacing it by consuming healthy, balanced meals.

Do cardio and stay hydrated .this is my advice.

Thank you! I already drink between 1-3 litres a day (depends really). What cardio do you advise to do?

I'm sorting out my diet as we speak but it doesn't mean I can't be more active

That's a really great idea! I do enjoy badminton and tennis, so I will look around for local clubs

But being more active counteracts the small amounts by which you plan to increase your calories, and you were planning to do that over months and still not be at maintenance! Not only that, it's not just increasing calories that is needed, but to consume the right foods for nutrition.

You need professional medical help.

It sounds like you are definitely very active already. Many people might think that cycling isn't a great workout, but they couldn't be more wrong. Biking is a great way to burn calories and help build leg muscle: https://www.openfit.com/calories-burned-biking

If you want to do something a bit more organized than you already do, you could join a sport like others have said below, or you could even start taking classes of some sort. I do a Pilates class from home everyday, along with my other workouts, and that structure has been great for my motivation and keeping up with my routine: https://www.openfit.com/beginner-pilates-lisa-hubbard

My best advice is to just figure out what your goals are. Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to build muscle? What about both? Once you figure out what you're looking to get from being more active, then you can choose what kind of exercise you should do.

It sounds like you do more than enough to be considered "active", so don't worry about being unfit overall. What are you looking to improve?
