Should I tell the HR that I rejected an offer, because I want to

I've applied for a few roles recently and received an offer from company A a few weeks ago. I also interviewed with company B and C last week, and told both companies that company A is waiting for my response, (company B is my top choice).

I rejected the offer from company A and still waiting to hear back from company B and C. Should I tell these companies that I rejected the offer from company A, but in what way?
Why is it company B or C's business that you rejected an offer from company A? Telling them would probably make you come across arrogantly.

Rejecting company A's offer before hearing back from B and C is an unwise thing to do- it doesn't paint you in a positive light.
