Last Tuesday, 7 days ago, I sent my Student Finance Appeal via post to the address specified in this "how to appeal leaflet":

https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/nysf/sfe..._leaflet_d.pdf

I sent the post via next-day-delivery and I can confirm through the royal mail website that my post arrived on 2/6/2021. This means that it has been over 6 days since Student Finance should have received my appeal post and yet I have not received an acknowledgement.

On the "how to appeal leaflet" it says that "On receipt of your appeal, we’ll send you an acknowledgement within five working days". I used the official "Appeal Form" template which requires you to enter your email address so they should be able to contact me:

https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/1920/ft/...orm_1920_o.pdf

Are there any reasons why I have not yet received this acknowledgement?

Edit: Never mind, I just realised that weekends probably don't count as "working days", therefore I can afford to wait a couple more days for the acknowledgement before I ask in earnest again if I have yet to receive one even then.

Hi, what was your appeal in regards to? I ask this because a lot of the time we get appeals that are not actually appeals and therefore don't get worked by the appeals team but can take 6-8 weeks to reject.
Thanks, Isaac
