Improving Personal Statement Post Bad Grades

I just got my mock results back today and did not get the grades I needed for my offers (basically due to further maths alone). It's unlikely my school are gonna give better grades than this so I was wondering what I could do to buff up my Computer Science personal statement for entry next year. I can retake my FM exam in October but that is unfortunately too late for entry this year. I was wondering how I could improve my personal statement over the summer to show progression over the course of the year in the eyes of Universities.

Any suggestions?
With any PS you need to show the Unis that you are thinking 'bigger' than your A level syllabus - that you are inquisitive and really interested in taking your learning to much higher level. Extra reading, and activities like watching/listening to podcast lectures etc will give you examples or course relevant topics to use. And if you spend all summer doing this sort of stuff, then your grades will probably improve next term.

If you’re applying for entry in 2022 then you’ll have until January 2022 (over 6 months) to demonstrate improvement to your teachers and reassure them that you’re capable of higher grades.

Even an amazing PS isn’t going to make much difference to your chances of an offer for the majority of universities and courses.
