what are people thinking of for accomodation (can't find a specific thread anywhere)
i think i'm going to go self catered and also don't think i can afford the nice great dover street or stamford street apartments so i'm going to have to share a toilet and shower... is really that bad?
probably going to end up in wolfson or one of those other two that are smaller even though it looks like a council block in the booklet they sent me. i want to be somewhere socialable and fun though so i hope it is!

lol I thought that but they only have limited spaces so I probably wouldnt get a place :frown:
Plus i think it would be an effort to get to kings everyday. duno though it might turn out to be the same distance as the others i would have to look.

Do you know where we can find any info about them? I can't find any

Snap! I do Eng. Lit, R.S., and French, I applied early-mid November, so I'm nervous too! Especially since I still have three to hear from and I expect at least one to be a rejection. Ohh and I love King's :frown:

I'm planning on self-catered too, and having seen the teeny-tiny size of ensuites (seriously, not even a shower curtain between toilet and shower :s-smilie:) I think I wouldn't mind sharing either!

There's quite a few, hopefully they have spaces available, just apply ASAP..

Kings shouldn't be too far..

you post in the appropriate sub-forum.
I heard from a current student that UoL halls are better as you meet all sorts of interesting people from other colleges.

I heard this too but they are 'far' away..
King's accommodation is soo hard to decide on!

Yeah they do seem quite far away actually, I think it would be like 20 mins minimum on the underground everyday to get to the strand campus. Oh, and they are all catered I think as well which isn't really what I want, still look really nice on the pictures though!
If UCL gave me a place I would probably see about it as it is just next door but that's not going to happen :frown: (sorry to betray you king's) lol
