U knw when KCL mentioned that AAAb criteria in their website.. just wondering... what if I'm bringing all four subjects forward to A2? does that AAAb criteria still apply? cos currently I have AAAC for my AS level and Im trying to bump up the C to a B.
I'm still waiting for hear any news for War Studies; it's a bit more nerve-racking since I've just been rejected from UCL and I desperately want to study in London (I don't particulary rate my chances at LSE).
Anybody heard any news at all so far on that front?
I got rejected by UCL too...it's really not a nice feeling but i tried to take comfort in the fact that UCL rejected my boyfriend and he got an offer from Oxford to do PPE, so maybe UCL have just got it all wrong!!

Yep, I've seen a lot of people who got rejected from UCL this year get into Oxbridge - particulary for Economics courses. It's so annoying though, I'm going to e-mail the admissions people and ask why I got the knockback. My guess is my personal statement..it just knocks my confidence when I think about my remaining choices (including King's)!
Well done to your bf though, getting in for PPE at Oxford is solid!

From what I've heard, UCL have been known to reject people on the assumption that Oxbrdge will take them... This happened to my mate's sister allegedly. Don't forget they can tell if you've applied based on whether you apply before or after the Oxbridge deadline. My school advises non-Oxbridge candidates to apply after the deadline, if they have grades to get into UCL or anywhere that good.

Does it mention anything in your offer? If not, then it is irrelevant. If what you signature says is correct (AAA) then that's all you need to get.
I've said it before...but back to the English thread with you madame
Shhh, I'm meant to be revising! I'll come back in due course, when there about a zillion pages to read... God I am so screwed in the English exam tomorrow Byron and Austen, eurgh!
Go revise then you'll be fine though Its not just you having exams though. had a horrible History exam today,..ghrawghr
at about quarter to 2, a friend of mine found out the History exam was today, not tomorrow. He'd been helping two people revise and yet hadn't realised! He had a real panic attack, out of breath and falling over and everything. He says he calmed down when he went in though, hopefully it went well for both of you!
I have an unconditional from King's for Law, and will go unless LSE accepts me (please please!). Add me to the Pg 1 list please!
hey yhgoh, since you are from singapore, you applied for 2010 deferred entry? well im assuming you are male that is.. haha.. my apologies if you are a female. :P
hmm, may i know when you got your king's law offer? cause im waiting for mine as well, and well LSE rejected me so yeah king's is first choice for me (if they do give me an offer)

Got the offer from King's in mid-November I think, but I applied really early, sent it off end-September

I called UCL and asked for feedback and although the man said they don't usually give personal feedback, he said that even though my LNAT score was good, my grades were beyond what they expected and my personal statement looked solid, there were a lot of applicants this year so really part of it was luck of the draw!!!

I'm doing 4 A Levels as well but the AAAb criteria still applies

I hate that!
That must be annoying! Ah well, at least you have King's - which for Law is about as highly regarded as UCL.
