I'm really annoyed I still haven't heard a singly thing from King's even though application was sent on the 8th October. I guess I can be patient though lol

I got one the day before yestarday :smile:

And no, they don't usually interview. They do in some cases, though, when they are unsure about a candidate, but unlike other unis (like UCL that interviews every candidate that is being seriously considered) here they just interview people when they are not entirely sure if they should make the offer.

Applied for War Studies.

Not sure how I will go, my personal statement was IR-based, but I'm hoping seeing as War Studies is a rare course, they will get lots of applicants with PS' that aren't War Studies specific.

i applied to UCL!! but they have not got back to me at all!!! i am soo upset
I applied to:

Queen marry- interview
Oxford- margaret hall-- Elat done, written work sent ...waiting for the rejection, there is no wat they will even think about interviewing me after that Elat paper....

KCL---NADA
Nottingham---Offer AAB [but i dont want to go there...]

Sometimes they interview if a candidate is particularly strong and they want to see if they should give him/her a lower than usual offer to encourage them to come - a friend of mine had an interview at King's a few years ago and came out with a CCC offer to ensure she put them down as one of her 2 final choices. So an interview isn't always a bad thing! And for History at least they interview half of all applicants... at least according to the prospectus. :smile:

I would love to go to UCL; take it it's the same for you? Congrats on the offer for Notts and the interview from St. Mary's - Notts might not be where you want to go but at least you know you've got one offer! :smile:
