I work in retail and have recently turned 18 and I’m really struggling with when to Id people, Obviously I know to challenge people who look under 25 for Id however, I’m unsure whether I should be challenging all of the group members if it is just one person buying it or if a young person is helping their parents do the weekly shop?

This is something that can vary from one employer to another, and in any case should have been covered as part of your training.

Ask your manager for guidance on this.
