You know whats funny, literally all my black, and brown guy friends use it..and then we all reveal we use it with pride...and they've always said "dun knoww da cocoa butter" like its a new revelation hahaha.

The pure stuff is better though, but its so expensive :-\..Palmers will do.

Back home we have it in blocks, it's supposed to be really good but forget that. As an aside (not that I know whether it bothers you or not), they (Palmer) use gylcerine from both plant and bovine sources. :s-smilie:

Office job, if you look at the back of Dove/Ben&Jerrys/Surf/Pot Noodles and a whole lot of other random crap its made by "Unilever", I work for there HR Dept over holidays, lotsa freebies, cheap stuff and good pay. I'm only selling my soul to major corporations for a few years, while I secretly build my empire. :p:

Lol, I'll look for the e-mail. I had to e-maila **** load of companies when i realised that some use porcine glycerine too! Lot's of soaps have animal products, I suggest Dettol soap, but also some soaps from ASDA. I was so happy when I discovered ASDA. I mean like, they have halaal ready meals! How cool is that!?! They have a coconut soap that is just delicious, and when I say delicious I mean it smells nice enough to make me actually taste it. I can't say it tasted great, but what can you say?

Meh, I don't get freebies from work. Well, a knife once, but pah. Sucky job!

I had a body shop preparation that was cocoa butter, brazil nut butter and shea butter; 'twas the sex indeed. But, I found that I ate more of it that I applied to my skin. Yes...I do tend to eat my cosmetics/toiletries!
