Oh come on, to the extent both are oppressed that's where the similarities end. Iranians suffer, but they haven;t had their country taken from them, been forced into exodus, changed their name, etc... you get the meaning. And you're so anti Iranian revolution, anti Ayatollah Khomeini, anti Ahmadinejad etc... and you equate it the same as what happened in Palestine, so how can you not be completely against Israel? If you view it as largely similar...?


At the end of the day however, I'm fairly certain the way Palestianians (even the terrorist ones) are treated far better by Israel's justice system than Iranians are treated by their own justice system.

Don't get me wrong, I'm completely against the Israelies oppressing the Palestinians, this conflict was grossly disproportianate and should never have occured. However, that doesn't mean that Israel shouldn't exist....it definitely should as long as it accepts the Palestinian nation and stops dominating over them.


And tbh I don't think it is very similar, apart from both being oppressed (and at least there's always a chance for a secular future for Iran, it's not like the USA loves them up like they love Israel, there's no AIPAC for Iran...) that's about it. By your reckoning, all opressed countries of the planet can be equated with Palestine then?


Nah definitely not...but by the same way, I genuinely think there's a possibility for a two state solution that would make both sides happy...I don't think it has to be Israel or Palestine, it could and should be both.

I just cooked burgers in the oven rather than the grill, urrrrrgh grease!

Well I was round there today with a birthday card for her little brother and things seemed to be the same as they had been before. So I guess it's a case of seaking around even more carefully than before...
