I don't want to be ill for reading week, or my birthday. It always happens! Actually, usually I injure my foot; my last three/four burthdays I've either broken a bone in my foot, been bitten on my foot, twisted my ankle etc. etc. I refuse to walk anywhere for the next five days!

I rather be fake ill for reading week as that means going to lectures and I don't want to gooo!

When is your birthday? I think the last time I've actually celebrated my birthday was when I was 17, that seems so long ago now...

:five:

It's better doing it now, saves me from having a mental breakdown later.
As it's the QM student chat thread, I'd like to point out an opinion:

The recent occupation of the lecture room in Bancroft was simply outrageous. Not just in our university, but all over the country.

A minority should never ever dictate policy to the university as a whole. There is student representatives which get elected which can speak for the university students.

I'm absolutely embarrassed that students who lock themselves in a lecture room (the irony) can be associated with the same university I went to, which I'm proud to be an alumnus of. Worse still is the university sucking up to your demands.

Shame on QM.

We didn't lock ourselves in; door was open throughout the whole occupation .
And working through the elected system didn't work in the past; this was a last ditch attempt which...worked! God, we managed to stop the uni investing in Arms dealers; how evil are we!?
