I'm undecided about resitting...but a fail doesn't look very good on a transcript...

Oh, I did well, but I flunked a module because my grandma died and well, I just didn't go back to university/labs. for a while.

I don't actually know when I get my grades, last year I e-mailed my advisor asking when we'd get them, and he e-mailed me back with them. I think other than that I'd have had to have waited for the official letter.

If by mutual friend, you mean HMK, then nope - cold showers in college as there's no hot water, followed by a side order of vomit-filled corridors that are literally just outside my room. Ah, university life doesn't get much ****** better.

I've heard some stories about Durham showers Though it may have just been an internet joke

Still, that sucks. My shower in halls was terrible, it fluctuated between boiling hot and freezing cold every ten seconds, so it doesn't get much better down south!
