Labcoats are hot, heavy and cumbersome. As are the goggles you have to wear with them :colonhash:

if I'm honest, I haven't had sucha great time there, but this year has been better than the last. The main problem is me if I'm honest, I've was nothing short of aloof in my first year, and it came back to bite me on the proverbial. The people I've come across aren't really my type, but I suppose I might have been a little more friendly. Meh, I'm almost done now so it doesn't matter much.

I reckon it's just the Physics department my friend... I went in to the first meeting, looking snazzy and friendly (smile switched on), and everyone blanked me completely.
Even when I tried talking to people, it was a one word answer, so eventually I thought screw it, and made some good friends at my halls! There are also some real moron's in my class, who actually stopped me talking to some people!

Btw, how many people were there in 2nd and 3rd year Physics?

At the first psi-star meeting? One person spoke to me, and we still hang out together to this day. That said, the rest seem to get on with each other okay, so I had just assumed I gave off a 'bad vibe'. I'm not sure about the third year yet, but in my second year a few people had dropped out, not loads though.

As an aside, have you e-mailed Dr Dennis for your provisional LSR Results?
