Pre enrolment pack, which is just paper copies of whats on the website and some lame freshers nonsense.
I had the same feeling, I was expecting something saying what to do on the 19th, where to pick keys up from etc etc, but I guess they're leaving that for the last possible moment.
aah ok, is that stuff like tuition fee papers? i think i'll just phone them up on monday to clear my paranoia...
No record set up for me for this academic session. Sorry, what?
Phonecalls on Monday.
That's a bit odd.

i'm going to QM on monday just to have a look and stuff will it be really quiet since term hasn't started?...also, science people, which are the most common building u use....hopefully i'll have a look at those places while i'm there
In my first year I have to say I was in Joseph Priestley the most, as my labs and my adviser were there and I liked the computer labs there. In terms of lectures iirc most of mine were in Mason LT in Francis Bancroft (don't think you can get in without an ID card if there's security, unless you go in via the geography building). Oh and you should see Foggs too, as that would be the place you would run to when you have to post coursework before the 4pm deadline.

Very odd. I want to know what's going on.
Yup, that little Geography shortcut, not that many people know about it. Or, if you have someone with a swipecard, you can usually go in the back entrance with them. I like walking across that bridge mind.
Speaking of QM ID cards, where can yours get you into? As a Drama student I have out of hours access to the Arts building and the Queens Building/People's Palace. What about you lot?

I can't get into Peoples lol. Not sure about Arts; probably - Pol is on the third floor.

I can get into nowhere after hours. I've been locked in the Physics building for that very reason. Bastards!
I can get into the labs but that's hardly amazing.

There's also a computer room there, found it during the exam period.
Hmm, I prefer to sit on the bridge rather than walk across it.

15+ hours a week I think, that's what is classified as full time education according to this Oyster card form I've got here.
Did you guys know that if you have a 16-25 railcard, you can apply the discount to your Oyster card and have the maximum daily payment for zones 1 - 2 capped at £3.35 - and the other zones are capped too but I can remember all the seperate prices...look it up on the tfl website!
