ooh i have a question... except ur a fizzysister so u might not know, but on the SBCS website, there's electronic reading lists for modules, are those the books lecturers want us to read/use for their work or will they set us books?... or should i email them and ask? cos, we've not been given any reaing lists yet... just sort of stumbled across the electronic one

I imagine the electronic one would be those set by the lecturers, but I'm not 100%.

Do you mean on student control panel? If so, yup those are what the lecturers recommend you use to make more notes from in addition to the lectures and possibly help with coursework too. And not taking the book out from the library before an exam, I sooo didn't do that.

Was it busy? I managed to drag one of my flatmates down there, who then ran a mile when it looked half empty at like 10pm, so we ended up just flatpartying it anyways.

Anyways after picking up my immensely useful 25p spatula/spoon thing at freshers I signed up to:

Me thinks something is going to get dropped along the way.

Heh, I've only ever takeb one book out of the library...the day before an exam. I didn't even know how until the woman pointed me to the machine. *blushes*

i didn't realise there were reading lists on the control panel i meant this one... aah i'm a bit worried about the whole getting my books from library thing... i met this girl who did a similar degree to me and now she's in second year and she was like get ur books out as soon as you can cos the biomedics take them before anyone else can

Aye, I bought all of the others. Most of they sit under my bed untouched.

I like the library though, it's fun!

Really? I only bought 4/5. One was a biochemistry book, so that was going to be used all the time and the rest were either bought on eBay for under a tenner or from India, as it was stupidly cheap there.

I just like bookshops really! Besides, library books just look and feel dirty.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that. I might sell my immunology book I have no use for it now... Does that bookshop on campus take second hand books?

I think I saw a sign that they did when we were at the ATM, just before I dropped everything everywhere.

I should sell some of mine, they're almost perfect in condition. That said, I'll probably wait until after this year, in case I find some use for them!

Well, you should get a wallet! I was going to pick them up but then I thought you two would run away from me.

And good, cause I remember at the end of term they had a sign saying they stopped taking second hand books in.
