I have an essay due soon and I. Want. To. Die. So much difference between first and second year! I've got my first proper essays coming up aswell rather than these stupid literature reviews, which is good.

Ugh, I hate my IR module. Well, I don't hate it, I enjoy what we're doing but having to read (at least!) four texts and then somehow squeeze all of that into a 1,000 word essay is not my idea of fun, at all. I really should get started on it today but Colin Firth and Christmas lights sound like the better option. I can tell this is going to be another one I'm going to be up until 6am writing

Yeah we had Choat for a few of the early lectures, he's pretty good and we had some random dude for a lecture on the state although I can't remember who as I was severly hungover for that lecture. I think we've got Madeleine Davis for this week

I can't wait until the second year! this year has been so dull so far although it looks like it's picking up after reading week.



I looove it, so much better than Intro to Pol. I've already done the IR lit review, I found condensing it down to 1,000 words and using all four sources the hardest part aswell. I wish it had been like a 2,000 word normal essay it would have been so much easier.

And for the IR essay, isn't the minimum number of texts you have to read three? Schroeder, Williamson and Ferguson, with a fourth being optional?

Nope, don't have a lecture now. Starts at one, but it's been canceled, as the lecturer has the flu! Which is good because I was going to bunk it anyway, need to do some work, but I am tempted to bunk my 3pm lecture too
