I'm guessing you mean the lecture about European Integration? I was the guy that shouted out Spain and Portugal joined the EU in 1981 when the answer was Greece I actually found it really interesting, much better than the last few lectures we've had. Probably helped that I accidently did the reading for it last night, rather than the reading on legal, political, military ordering, oops.

I was right at the back, but I recall someone saying that. Some Asian girl was joking around with me and saying Pakistan joined the EU. Yeah, that lecture was decent. Smashed last week's one, for sure.

Got my Intro to Politics draft back y'day and got quite a hammering, tbh. But, in all fairness, I wasn't too fussed about the drafts, so didn't give it my best shot. She's trying to disencourage me from writing lengthy sentences, saying that's a weakness of mine.

Can't wait for Thursday when I get my history essay mark. I'm expecting to make up for the okish start made in the politics side of the course. Anything less than 65, I'll be disappointed. If I get like a 2:2, I'll be starting to think all this hard work is for absolutely nothing.

I do exactly the same thing, I got savaged for it on my Intro to Politics Lit Review. So now what I do is once I've done my first draft of an essay, I look through it and deliberately break down any long sentences, insert more semi colons where they're applicable and rejig the wording of some sentences. Seems to work well as I havn't had any comments on my sentence structure in the last two essays.

I wasn't that far away from you actually, about 4/5 rows from the back, next to some fat bloke who smelled so badly of BO, happy days. He seems to follow me around Campus and he's twice sat next to me in European History aswell.
