I've finally finished my American essay, well the first draft anyways. I'll have a look at it again tomorrow and refine it a bit but it's essentially done.

No more coursework until January :woo:

Same here, just refining the essay. But we now have the two essays for Intro and IR, so it's not all good and well.

You can pay at the machines on the ground floor...just scan your library card and follow the instructions...

I think I've accumulated about £4 so far this term :rolleyes:

My sleep cycles are sooo ****** up. It's really not good to be falling asleep regularly at 6am and waking up at 3pm, eugh. Oh well time to get back to work...can't wait until Friday!

I went to sleep at half seven this morning and woke up an hour ago, true story, and it's not like the reason for this was because I was out partying until the early hours of the morning, oh no. I was having a Black Books/Spaced marathon :sigh:

I used the Harvard System, which just requires you cite the source using brackets, like (Smith, 1994: p35). However, on Thursday I found out that the history dept prefer footnotes to be used, so I've had to make a few changes to my American essay. Thankfully, Mara seems slightly lenient over the issue of referencing.

Ah got it, I've always footnoted, I just think it looks smarter. I thought you meant that you literally didn't cite haha. Did Mara tell your class that she's well known for being a lenient marker aswell? I'm hoping for a good grade because of that :p:

And I completely agree with you guys about the sleeping cycles, I'm hoping to sort it out over Xmas hopefully, although I bet after about a week back here mine will be all screwed up again :frown:

Yeah, it looks more professional, certainly. However, the harvard way is so much easier and it eats up less words.

Yeah, Mara did. I have a good feeling about this essay as well. :p:
