A2 predicted A*A* A

Plus A in EPQ

UCL courses are highly split, there are reserved spots for physics and then physics with x, y, z etc which splits physics applicants up so there's less overall competition for any one physics course as all the people applying to cambridge physics who also apply UCL get split up into the different options they like. That and UCL physics just might not get too many applicants compared to other universities. Some people just dislike being in London etc KCL (king's) has a 90% offer rate whilst imperial has a 26% ish offer rate since its a highly coveted STEM school whilst UCL is more general.

Stats don’t lie, 70% offer rate is hardly competitive lol and that’s my reasoning as to why it’s the case
