A diplome d'ingenieur with a minimum of 14/20 overall. But what does that mean?Watch
"To be considered for an MSc(...) applicants must have successfully completed or been awarded the Diplome d'ingenieur degree with a minimum of 14/20 (bien) overall from a Grande ecole"
These requirements are relevant to my country.
To clarify, we study for 5 semesters (2 years and one semester). Each semester is graded individually out of 20. We receive the Diplome d'ingenieur after having completed a final year project and defended a thesis pertaining to said project. This thesis is also graded.
Now, the diploma is just a paper. i.e: I won't find a grade on this paper telling me I've received a "Diplome d'ingenieur" with an average of 14/20 oVERalL". So what does the overall mean? Do they require a minimum of 14/20 in each individual semester (I'm screwed in this case)? Just the final semester? The average of all five?
I've already emailed the uni about this and got an automatic reply (can't handle queries from random non-applicants due to covid). My country is Tunisia.
Ask your current university what will be shown on your final transcript of marks.
I would say it isn't fair, but these are their requirements and they want the best of the best so it's understandable...
