So, I want to study something revolving economics at uni and was initially hoping to apply for straight econ at Cambridge, however, I think that realistically, the course is way too competitive for me to have a decent shot at getting in. ( I mean my grades are Good but not THAT good when put against the best students in the country). So now I’m going to apply for land economy at Cambridge, alongside straight economics at Warwick through a scholarship programme. They both really interest me so no problems there, though I was just wondering what course you guys think is more respected or leads to better career prospects.

Economics at warwick might be more competitive than land economy at cambridge*(?) which itself is fairly competitive and they will test to make sure you are a good fit for the course. Both will be good for p much any job, if you want to work in proprietary trading/quant finance warwick economics might have a slight edge but neither courses are optimal for it tbh lol. For IB the Cambridge brand name is what's important, not the degree itself so you're in good stead there. Warwick too but to a slight lesser extent. Land economy at Cambridge is still v competitive and you'll need to ace the TSA and interviews btw.
