I'm looking to apply for English Literature (undergrad) starting 2022 - I'm thinking Oxford, Durham, York, Edinburgh so far ( so I really don't want to slip up in my PS)
and I'm trying to consider what type of literature motivates me to like English
My issue is that I read a lot of Russian literature in my spare time- Dostoevsky and the likes - sometimes in translation and sometimes in the original (I'm half russian)
But can i talk about this? It is literature and something I love and am proud of - but its not ENGLISH specifically? I can't work out if its relevant enough and if it would be better to just leave it out?

The best thing to do is to look at the sort of literature that you will be reading in the degrees and identify the overlap between them, and therefore whether what you have read is relevant
