I withdrew from uni during COVID-19 due to mental health I’m now getting treating for it and I’m feeling ready to go back to a different uni. I’m being told I can get maintenance loan but not tuition fee which I need. When I check my account it’s on the wrong intake and maintenance loan says loan available to me £8,000 then underneath loan paid to me is £0 what should I do?

Hi there, all full time undergraduate students can receive funding for the length of their course plus one additional year, minus any previous study.

Have you already used your additional year?
Thanks, Isaac

Hi Isaac,

I used one additional year where I sent a compelling form and started foundation year. I will now be in year 1.

If you have already used your additional year then you will need to provide Compelling Personal Reasons evidence to be funded again.
