I was thinking of converting a skirt and top I have into a dress but I’m worried it won’t be “formal” enough for prom?

Wear a dress and treat it like a formal event - the idea is to look presentable rather than looking like a chav.

I'm sure it'd look very cool and unique! Would you mind adding pictures of the top and skirt?
