Hello
I have gotten back my gcse results and I have gotten art and photography .I do not want to do photography.
I tried to get photography changed to Spanish, but they explained art and Spanish are in the same section so I would have to chose between art and photography or Spanish and photography.

I was thinking that I could ask the school to give me the intended photography lessons to self study either Spanish or art, and therefore study one of them in a class .
Which one do you think I should chose to self study?

Self studying a GCSE? Thats ballsy, especially two with such practical components as Art and Spanish. If you self study Spanish you will miss out on a lot of talking practise unless you have a tutor or something, and if you self study art you may miss out on a lot of the critiques. Is there nothing in the photography block you want to take?

You really are between a rock and a hard place here. Both Art and Spanish are good GCSEs. I would personally say to take spanish and do art in your free time but that is just me. You could in theory take Art and get an external spanish tutor/learn on your own.
