i have been given 11k for maintenance loan assuming i get into imperial. rent per year costs about 7k so i will have 4k left. is this too much and if so and I have money left over in the year do i keep it or send it back so i dont have to repay as much after i graduate?

You can choose to keep or give back but if you pay it back, they can't give you it, should you change your mind. You can ask for less at the beginning and then request more on your application later down the line, should you want to.
