I take maths AI HL and Chemistry SL. (The other four subjects are fine.)
I am so worried about the result of the d1 mock exam in chemistry and maths, especially maths.
1st term grade; maths: 4, chem: 4
2st term grade; maths: 3, chem: 4
(I'm not good at these science subjects.)
Then, I feel like I might get 2 or 3 (hopefully 4) from maths and 3 or 4 from chem in this exam.
So, I am wondering whether I can pass the test, meaning possible to be a new d2 from next year.
I researched about the minimum requirements score in ib, but many websites say different things. Then my school says "As part of these examinations, there will be an expectation, placed upon all D1 students that in order for them to continue onto the Diploma Programme in D2, they need to achieve 24 points in these examinations from their six subjects. If any student does not achieve this score (the baseline expectation to receive an IB Diploma) then they will be failed."
Does this mean it is fine (being able to d1) if you averagely got 24 points from six subjects even if you got 2 or 3 from some subjects?
I simply worry about this.
