i’ve applied for two jobs recently and one of them called and left a voicemail about having an interview and the other one text me.

Is this normal shouldn’t i get an email aswell? Or is this the new norm?

It’s common to call & end up leaving a voicemail but not a text tbh

I guess it depends on the scale and formality of the organisation. Mostly I would expect an email confirmation

yeah it just said Hi i’m the manager (of the place) is like to invite you for an interview if you’re still interested

i didn’t reply :/ i’m not too bothered about the job i only applied bc i saw it and i’ve applied for others i’ve seen

and bc they text me literally the next day i feel like i’m the only one who applied lol
