So i have created an entire world in my head that I can fall into or kinda bring into this world when im having a hard time or im bored. It consists of characters from shows i watch that i like and they kind have their own thing that they do unless i need them and i can kinda control them. Is this like a mental illness or am i just losing it.

OMG I do that too! It's a great escape from reality when you don't have any work to be doing haha

You've got a vivid imagining and are easily distracted. You need to find ways to address problems in real life than ignoring them, and get some activities to occupy yourself properly; study, hobbies, volunteering.

It’s not weird or crazy at all, it means your imagination is highly developed! Mental worlds are truly amazing, just make sure you’re not using them to escape all your real world problems.
