DSA Laptop Warranty and Insurance

Hi everyone. I have recently received my DSA2 Letter detailing the support and equipment I am eligible to access. It says that I need to purchase laptop warranty and insurance since I am using my own laptop, and I can be reimbursed for the costs. My laptop is almost 3 years old however and Lenovo says they don't offer warranty. I have seen that Currys/PC World offer a Care & Repair service but I am not sure if this is suitable or not. Anybody have recommendations or experience in where they purchased their warranty and insurance which was approved for reimbursement? Many thanks
Try looking up DSA laptop insurance. My daughter found several providers last year and DSA reimbursed her for a 3 year policy with no problems. The normal computer suppliers insurance is not suitable- you need a specialist (the cover is much more comprehensive and expensive. DSA expects this)

Hi, would you be able to tell me what company your daughter ended up using as I’ve seen a few but I’m not sure which ones are trustworthy

I haven't done it yet because I haven't received my laptop yet, but my electronics supplier (Barry Bennett) actually has the option for you to directly go to their insurance partner's website to get insurance for your laptop at a 'competitive price' if you didn't go with the option get your laptop directly through them. Might be worth looking into!
