im not ready for uni life at all
no seriously, i struggle with social anxiety which makes it hard to do anything to begin with. i can't go shopping by myself, can barely cook, thinking about having to take care of myself in a brand new city and try to make my way around it and get to class gives me a headache, socialising with people, living with new people .. i am so behind on life, again because of my anxiety. im considering a gap year but what will that do anyway? im too scared to start uni when im in this state because I'll crumble but if i don't go, I'll be stuck forever. i think i just need some advice lol ..

I’m sorry that you feel this way .. Taking a gap year could help if u work on ur anxiety but if u do go to uni this fall you won’t have to worry and feel anxious about the whole uni thing for another year.no matter when u decide start your degree I would recommend that you join the gc for your course .You don’t necessarily have to chat with everyone but getting to meet some people will certainly help .Also , if you’ll be living in a flat with other students u should text them beforehand so that you’ll feel less awkward the day you’ll get to see them .Texting them might be awkward but believe me they’ll feel nervous too bc they won’t know anyone .Regarding shopping you can order stuff once per week and stock up on the stuff you’ll be consuming the most .
