I am a mature student (21).

Currently, I have a place to study chemistry with an industrial placement year in September at the University of Bristol.
However, I am not sure about chemistry 100%, I am worried I am going to find it too hard as I have a friend at Manchester who changed course due to its difficulty and another who failed first-year chem twice.

I have been debating for a while whether to swap it for Economics for a while, on UCAS extra they only have Economics and accounting available at Bristol it looks like- is this still a good degree to have or is it not as well regarded, would I still have the same jobs available to me with this degree as I would with pure econ?

I do not really know what specific job I would like at the moment, so which one of these will give me a bigger range of potential careers at the end of it and if anyone has done either of these how difficult are they please?
