Been single since December 2019. Majority of my friends have got into relationships. Tried dating apps but no luck. I try to stop thinking about the concept of being in a relationship but I just can’t. It just begins to kill my self esteem and I think this is mainly to do with Uni, haven’t been on campus really yet and don’t start until very end of September. Just feel really lonely. I hang out with my friends almost every day but when I come back, I just feel empty.

No-one else will make you happy if you aren't content in yourself. You want a relationship, but you don't need one. Assuming you are an undergrad at uni, you are still young and have plenty of time to develop connections.
